Get the free issue, click on "Bill me later", and then cancel after the first one.

Thats right! All you have to do is write a letter to the publisher/circulation dept asking for a free subscription. People do it all the time.
Why? Because those copies still count towards circulation which the advertisers pay for. Now you still get junk mail, but the snail mail kind that you get with any mag subscription.

has anyone tried this yet? Write a letter to the magazine itself! It works.
I work in this industry so I know for a fact it goes on all the time.
