Do you have 'drexel@' on your contact list?

If so... RUN A FREAKING VIRUS SCAN ON YOUR COMPUTER!!!!! You have the sobig virus and it's mailing an email to drexel@m..........com everytime you get into your mail and it's sending it from is said to be my address...

AKA: I'm getting about 50 rejected emails in my hotmail.com account saying that it contains a virus... well no crap!

For the love of god...

www.trendmicro.com offers a free virus scan... USE IT!!!

You guys are crazy....all of you

I had sobig about a week ago on my work 'puter, but got rid of it pretty quick. Also found Norton Antivirus 2003 for $13.99 shipped here: http://www.tekdeal.com/product/NAV20031YR

Just checked and it is now $19.99 shipped. Still a pretty good deal.

It's norton 2002, but you get updated with it, so it's just as good as 2003.

Well, here's the deal... I don't have SOBIG nor any other trojan or similar that is in the wild at the moment on any of my 3 computers (2 work, one home).

Someone, from f150online.com or fordtruckworld.com that has emailed me and has me in their address book with my kingranch@hot..mail....com address definately has it. To this day, I get around 10-30 rejected email messages (most of which are from aol.com and from a 'drexel' user).

Knowing how most of these viruses work these days, I know that the person that has this particular virus probably has this 'drexel' user on their list and it's using my email as the 'RESPOND TO' email address.

It's getting, shall we say, frustrating. I can't email viruses from a damn hot.mail.c.om address anyways!! Geesh. Check your computer people... www.trendmicro.com FREE VIRUS CHECK AND FIX!!!!

That’s what I like about my internet service. It has email and it not only scans incoming email for possible virus and then quarantines them it also scans all my out going email as well for virus. Now and then I have some infected email quarantined and all I have to do is delete them…

You mean your internet service provider offers email!?!? DAMN! I think all of us have been missing out on this perk to having internet service.

Wow... I need a new ISP that has email. And to think, I've been using a carrier pigeon all this time when I could've been bouncing electrons back and fourth across the world. Stupid me.

There are no contacts in either of my contact lists. Wasn't me RP.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, SoBig will harvest email addresses from your temporary internet files, too.
