'02 Convertible Camaro SS

Anyone have 1/4 times on these? I raced one CLOSE 0 to 70, I thought I would have gotten walked, but stayed door to door till he started to pull around 65 or so. I dont know if it was an auto...

You didn't mention if it was an Automatic or 6spd. A STOCK Z28SS with a good driver in average air coditions(75*-80*) should run mid to low 13's in the 1/4 at b/w 104 and 107 mph. These are AVERAGE figures! I had a 2000 6spd WS6 T/A that ran anywhere from 13.30's to 12.80's at b/w 106 and 110 mph with MINIMAL bolt ons (shifter, cat-back, whisper lid, crank underdrive pulley, and 3.73's) depending on the air conditions. LS1's are stout motors, even in stock form. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. Based what you said, coupled with the fact that my truck is stock all the way down to the air filter, I would say that it was an auto, and that the extra weight of the convertible didn't help much. It also had the Brickyard 400 pace car decal package that may have slowed him down as well....

Those SS were only 15 more HP than the regular V8 Queermaro, and the times were about the same. Still, they are both pretty quick. What's your truck's setup?
