Notre Dame has a chance of being top 3 this year, especially with Julius Jones back for his senior season. I went to high school with him and his brother (Thomas Jones, Tampa Bay Bucs), and they're exceptional players. Julius is an experienced back that hardly ever feels pressure in tight situations, but I don't know if he's good for making up the slack that they had last year. Remains to be seen. Donate, what did you mean? They allowed no scores (other than field goals, and one of them was a 52 yarder), and in the first half they scored touchdowns with their offense, defense, and their special teams. The offense needs to gel a bit and become a sophisticated unit, but that defense is dang IMPRESSIVE!

Go `Canes!

There can be only one and it is to be the one that "TOOK" it all last year.
The BUCKEYES will repeat........

Oh, how I wish that there could be a rematch between the one-hit wonders and the powerhouse! OSU did win the championship last year, but they were never ranked number 1 during a season, including the beginning of this one. Can't wait on bowl season, y'all, it was hard enough just waiting for college football to start! Marc Carpenter and fordby4, if there is a National Championship rematch, we should have an F-150 tailgate party before the game!

Pickup Man, I'll take you up on that tailgate offer, (Even if Miami doesn't make it, and it's all Ohio )

Oklahoma University and Oklahoma State for the Big XII South, the winner will be one of them and go onto will the national championship.

Ok, its going to be hard for us (OSU) to win the championship since we los to Nebraska, but ya never know, we kicked the A out of OU the last two years.
