Mobil 1...

has anyone noticed that M1 has changed thier grades?
used to beable to get 5W20.
Now you can't get it any more, just 0W30 or 0W40 or the standard 5W30.

I've been using 0w-30 for almost two years now. The 0w-20 is a new product released eariler this year. I have never seen the 5w-20 in Mobil 1.

When Mobil 1 first came out in the late 70's /early 80's, it was sold as a 5w20 oil.

Current flavors do not include a 5w20, only 0w20. Mobil 1 never released a 5w20 in the current lineup, only the 0w20.

The 0w30 has been availible for many years, and is used pretty commonly up here in the wintertime for better cold start properties.
