Before work today I called up Geico and they gave me the best auto insurance quote I have ever had. I dropped my insurance with Progressive and bought Geico's policy while I was on the phone with the guy from Geico. He was super-friendly and helpful, and as soon as I told him that I had an F-150 he said "You know you have the best-selling vehicle of all time, don't you? The F-150 has led the nation in truck sales for almost 30 years straight, and it has been the best selling vehicle in the country for almost 20 years straight, car or truck, and in 1999 it replaced the Volkswagen Beetle as the best selling vehicle of all time." I said "Yeah, I know.", and he said, "I'm a big fan of Ford trucks." We talked for about 30 minutes about Ford trucks, and he has a 2004 FX4 ordered. That was the best experience that I have ever had when I had to pay someone, it usually kills it for me, but this guy loved Ford trucks, and it was the cheapest I had ever been quoted, and the coverage started from the minute I gave him my credit card number over the phone, so I rate it as an AWESOME experience, and I highly recommend at least checking out Geico before you buy anywhere else, because they evidently have the friendliest salesmen on Earth, and at least one of them has good taste.

 

I hear ya. I've had GEICO on several vehicles for years now. Plus... they have cool commercials!
