the sickest part of it is that they use those high power sniper rifles to do it..not like they are eating them, just blowing them away for fun...weirdos. My GF has one as a pet, its pretty cool.

I think the only thing I could shoot it a deer..and thats because they just taste sooo damn good....maybe a duck as well, fried duck is killer

yay, they can hit static target at 50 feet with a high powered scoped rifle. Congrats. I hate our cultural presumption that we are somehow above everything else.

They are protected in CA deserts. They are actually really cool rodents.

That's the reason gun owners get a bad name! When those guys start lookin around for their beloved fido and can't find em' they can look to FMJ-Full Metal Jacket 7.62, payback is hell . Death for death's sake, how cool!

Judging by the video's, I would bet on that being public land and not private land. Then again where I live if it takes you more then 1 hour to mow the lawn you have a lot of land.

As for the prairie dogs, if people want to shoot them thats their business, especially if they are destructive to the their property. Hell I've done the same thing with groundhogs in my grandma's garden.

But when you get a bunch of guys go out there, video tape the whole thing in a very immature way it serves 2 purposes:

1. Fuel for anti-gun lobbyists.
2. Fuel for PETA to be more annoying.

very true, the way they shot the video and all makes it seem like it was just for fun. I have also killed many a rodent, snake, opossum, armadillo if they are tearing up my yard or digging holes under my house's foundation...thats about the only way I concider it ok to smoke them.

id have to say theres a fairly big difference between killing for entertainment and killing for purpose. If something is threatening you or you need to take the life of something in order to survive, thats just nature. Death is a normal part of life. But to kill to laugh and mock at the death of another being to me seems morally incorrect. Obviously there are gray areas on an issue like this but i think this one makes it pretty clear, the guys are *******s and we could well do without them.

And yes i, too, hate PETA, their ideals are sorta (and i use that term lightly) ok, but they a bunch of hypocritical asshats and i seriuosly wish those hippies would just shut up and go away.

Guess i better not hunt around some you guys!

I only hunt with hi power pellet guns, not BB guns, but air guns that cost anywhere from $900 to $3000 each.

I only shoot what i eat, and i guess some people think i'm nuts for spending so much money for airguns. Guess i have to many hobbys that cost alot of money!
