Guess those people from the Channel Islands will have to do a little more advertising.

I am orignally from Calif. I have lived here in New Hampshire for little over 10 years now.

With or without the "New" I still do NOT identify with this freaking state...

That don't add up.
You claim liberal California over 'Live free or Die" conservative New Hampshire?

You would prefer that the Governator tax you to death to balance the budget over the 'No sales tax' and 'No Income tax' of NH?

Me thinks thou dost complain too much!

Ah Jersey, where oil is pronounced "earl", Newark is "Nork", The Oranges is Da Onjiz.

A lot of towns sound funny 'cause they were named with words taken from the Lennapi indians that occupied these lands back in the day. We got Keasby, Wawayonda, Sqaunkum, Hopatcong, Delawanna, Wannamassa, and a bunch more I cant think of right now.

Thought I'd bring this one back. I received this in an email not too long ago. I truly identify with it. Read the first post. It's pretty funny. Enjoy.....especially you fellow New Jersey members.

My recollection from having vacation on the Jersey Shore growing up, specifically Wildwood, that there were some area, especially those closer to Philadelphia, that did use the term hoagie...of course, where I grew up in CT, we heard hero, hoagie, sub, wedge, grinder, etc, etc.

And, I also recall that french fries with gravy were quite popular late at night at diners...snotties, I believe they were called?

I always called submarine sandwichs subs. And yup, french fries with gravy at late night diners. Didn't realize they were called snotties though.
