Question What Brand of Pick-up is most Popular in Your Area?

I have often wondered what pick-up is the most popular brand in Cedar Rapids, IA or Nome, Alaska or any other state, province or geographical region of the world. I would hope Ford, of course.

A former co-worker indicated that Chevy is very popular in Wisconsin. Ford appears to be King in Texas. Toyota looks pretty popular in Iraq (the ones that U.S. Soldiers haven't already blown to pieces)

In Indianapolis, looks like Ford wins by a good margin over all the others!.

In the Cincinnati area, I am told that Ford outsells Chevy and Dodge combined. There sure a lot of them!

In Oklahoma (by my gut sense), Ford rules here. Chevy seems strong but, like Texas, lots of Fords.

Judging by what I see on the streets in Eastern Iowa...

#1 Ford
#2 Chevy
#3 Dodge

Ford by a large margin here in Jacksonville Florida. Then I would say Chevy, then Dodge. But they are pretty much an even mix after the Ford.

Ford outsells any other brand around here, Chevy has lots but if you go down a street like Capitol Boulevard you'll see at least three Fords to one Chevy (talking in pickups) If not more..

This is how it appears here too. That would be the F150 to all the other trucks. The super duties make Ford heavily outnumber the others.

Back here there are not a lot of auto parts stores. I see probabely 5 Fords to every 1 Chevy and 1 Dodge. I guess because there is not a lot of auto parts stores is one of the main reasons...

Going by my parking lot at work, I would say for the latest designs:

Ford
Dodge
Chevy (going by the ones with the *ss ugly front on 'em)
I know in Bryan TX., Ford is KING! Thats almost all the trucks were

Here in Southern CA., I would still say Ford, but not like in TX. We have alot of Chevies and a good number of Dodge, but Ford is probably still in the lead.

living in wis. i would agree that chevy is probably #1 here, but, when i bought my '97 f150 it seemed like i had the only one on the road. now days there's a ford at every stoplight.

i would give the list this way. only my opinion of course no facts

1. chevy 43%
2. ford 37%
3.dodge 20%

Most of the American pickups here are Chevy's.

Most folks here lease, so whatever the newest/latest/coolest style is on the street quickly.

Ford is solidly #1. The new Dodge has recently outpaced Chevy, though the Avalanche is pretty popular. H2s and Tundras are probably next.

The first company to bring back the convertible pickup (like that old Dakota), will probably do well here.
