DOVE HUNTERS :>..Are we ready?? Texas Park and Wildlife are predicting an excellant year again. Just need the heat to break about 2 days before the 1st. Then they'll fly. The guns been cleaned and conditioned at Docs in Carrolton. Got my truck ready to go. Camo's washed. Gave Mama some spending money for when I'm away. Just a point I'd like to bring up. TPW has banded some birds this year and is asking you to report locations this year. The phone number is on the tag with the tag number. It's important that they get these numbers or they may have to cut back the limit from 15 birds a day to 12 again. Somthing about the birds getting Urbanized, hanging around the big cities for food and water and cover. Also don't forget your White Wing stamp,very expensive if your caught with one and you don't have the stamp. Personally I saw 6 last year up and around Vernon Texas where the Piese and Red rivers meet

 

Oh yeah!!!! It's almost here.

We had some morons here in the Recall state that wanted to ban dove hunting. Why ??? "because they are such a peaceful bird that don't bother anyone. Also people can't eat them because they are too small."

We don't need a white wing stamp here just an upland game stamp. We have alot of white-wings around here.
