i think youll love Miami eventually you get over the fact theres traffic right in your own yard, but hey you give a little to live here. many people dont have a warm beach with beautiful people year round. AWESOME weather year round. ohh and hurricanes yea we got one in 1992 and in 1979 i believe, its not something that happens every year. good luck

Florida is about the only place i could stand to live...

The summer is hot and humid though, a LOT of rain

The winter kicks major *** though, it rarely gets below 30 degrees..and it of course doesnt snow, so ice on the roads ect. is not a problem like up north.

I would live in central florida if I was you, dont go any farther south than Tampa... most hurricanes and such die out way before they get this far inland... I have a lot of family in Miami and Ft.Lauderdale... I was there for hurrican andrew...what a mess

The actual city of Tampa is ok, not much of a city compared to Miami IMO though. If you live in the more suburban areas like "New Tampa" and Citrus park , then roads are new and so is everything else..nice areas
