Name the Cat

My BF just got a cat. He was working late at night, getting ready to leave, and a completely black cat jumped into his truck. He called me and the thing was meowing loudly in the back ground. I told him "You just got yourself a cat" He said "I don't want a cat" I said "Too bad, the cat wants you" The he said it is loud, and I told him he'd have to feed it to make it shut up. He took it home, and I brought over some food, a small (because he said it was a small kitten) litter box, and some litter.
This "kitten" turned out to be a small cat prolly about 8 mos old, and it doesn't like the small litter box after a day. So what does it do? It jumped into the cat litter bag and used that! It is pretty cool though, it eats flies, and tells him when someone is at the door.
He wants to call it "whiney @ss" but because he found it by the mailboxes, (incomming Male) I think he should call it "unexpected Bill"
Any other name suggestions for him?

As for the name, how about something like...
"Cat".

I always used to hate cats, then one day I got stuck with one (long story)

I named him Bob.

Anytime people hear his name they love it and say how unusual it is (as if they never saw an animal with a people name before.)

I have a friend who has a dog named Dave.

There's something cool about giving your critters names like these.

So, I suggest some of the following:

Bob
Dave
Ted
Bill
Ed
Mike
Rex
****
Fred
Frank

etc.

If you have a pair of animals that's even better because you can give them famous pair/couples names

Smith and Wesson
Sacco and Vanzetti
Abercrombi and Fitch
Laurel and Hardey
Tom and Jerry
Matrin and Lewis
Huntley and Brinkley
Mickey and Minnie
Batman and Robin
Abbott and Costello
Amos and Andy
Cain and Albe
Flora and Fauna
Gilbert and Sullivan
Jack and Jill
Jeckyll and Hyde
Fred and Ginger
Lucy and Dezi
Ozzie and Harriet
Masters and Johnson
Peabody and Sherman
Procter ang Gamble
Rocky and Bullwinkle
Rosencrans and Gildenstern
Simon and Schuster

etc.

This was the most awesome cat in the world... his name was Heyboy.

Our cat now is pretty darn cool too. She hangs out with the dogs and acts just like them. She rolls over and likes her tummy rubbed... and she only meows when she's out of food. Her name is "kitty".

Toonces is a good name... from the SNL skit "Toonces the Driving Cat" with Steve Martin and .... dang, what's that whiney-voiced chicks name... Victoria something...

Our cat is named TWIT.....always gets a big laugh at the vet's...She rules the house..lol

Your b/f should be named LUCKY. cause he's lucky to have a g/f who is compassionate and likes cats.
