Arrow Just spent $130 on....

SHOES. Damn prices are insane! It probably cost nike $3 to make these. I think this is the first time I spent over $20 on anything, well not counting gas

So if you want to get ripped off like me go get a set of nikes. That is all. Super Duper silver nike shox ride type-r

Sorry, but if you paid that, then you deserve to pay $130 for shoes.
I have never paid more than $40 for shoes.
I got my Avia's on sale for $25, my daughters Nike's on sale for $20, and even my son who knows I won't pay more than $40 for shoes, had to shop around, but he finally found Etnies on sale for $40.
Total for three pairs of "name brand" shoes = $85

You know, I bet you could save even more money by just flushing the toilet once a day....... lol

JUst kidding.. deals are easy to find, especcially if you aren't out trying to buy the "new release" shoes. I had a buddy used to work for Foot Locker, and he would always tell stories about the line forming 4:00 or 5:00 in the morning to get the new Air Jordans or whatever...... insane to me, but I don't put a $20 limit on shoes...........

news flash..everyones feet are different , a $25 pair of shoes might fit you good. i recently got apair for $85 and another white pair ($40) to were with nice shorts. no comparison the $85 fit my feet and are 5 times more comfortable. i could have probalby spent an hour trying on shoes and found a cheaper pair but the extra money was worth it to get the he!! out of the shoe store.

Yeah thats why I said this was the first time that I have spent this much on shoes. I usually spend $20-30 for a pair of addidas.

I seriously couldnt find any shoes that looked decent. These have some kind of an air bubble and "air shocks" that make it seem like your walking on air. I better be

Are you serious? Can you hook me up with a size 13 bro You know what they say about men with big shoes, they were big socks.

I hear you on this one! I hate shopping for anything other then car parts. Stores are filled with people 16-18 looking for some "tight" shoes. I just want a pair that fits.

Hey don't get me wrong, I hate to shop as much as any guy, and there is a point where comfort vs cost isn't an option. I spent an hour trying on Avias (My last most comfy shoe) when I saw they were on sale, to get the most comfy pair. Then when they went on sale again two months later for $29, even though it was more, I walked in and bought the exact same pair (took 5 minutes) to put away for when these wear out so I won't have to spend another hour trying on shoes again.
My Harley boots - the most comfortable boots I have ever owned - were $120, and I paid full price. They were well worth it, but I watched the sales and when they went on sale, I bought a second pair for $60. The 1st pair are about 4 years old and in good shape, 2nd pair are like new, and both of them still comfortable. I wear the 1st pair for work, and the 2nd pair for play.
I don't want the lastest and greatest, I just want cheap and good!

Your right about Nike not paying much to manufacture the shoes. They are manufactured in South Korea. When I was in the Navy we went to Korea like 6 times. You can buy Nike shoes (yes the real thing) in the market for $5 - $10. That was 10 years or so ago, so now they may have gone WAY up to like $10 - $15…

The difference between men and women right there, the men all agree that it's worth 45 bucks to just be done with shoe shopping, and the women see it as an opportunity to GO shopping.
My Skechers cost like 24 dollars, and I wish I could find another pair or two just like them, they are really comfortable and they fit good.

You got that right, a lot of women will spend $20 in gas driving all over the place for a sale to save $10. Don't forget lunch cost. A guy just drives somewhere, sees something decent and buys it.
