Cadillac CTS-V!!!!!

LS6 power w/400 hp, faster than an M3 or an M5, great handling, and luxury, for about $48,000 to start! Dayum! Lincoln, take notes. The LS sucks! Turn up the power!

I don't think so. It'll depreciate faster than a BMW; but, not at that rate. Though I'd be happy to see it that cheap in 2 years time.

This is not your daddies caddy. GM is raising the domestic bar. It's about time somebody did.

Actually I heard the LS is quite a good car handling and performance wise.

The reg CTS I heard was OK.

So if lincoln dropped a 4.6 with 400 its would blow this thing away.

Way over-priced and under-powered. $48,000 for the current weak-assed V8 version. I wonder what it would cost if it grew some *****?

WTF are you smoking? 48,000? Thats well into Towny Territory.

Invoice: $29,324 - $39,818
Retail: $31,860 - $43,520

Yahoo! Autos

Edmunds post the highest at just over 44,000 for retail.

Thats almost a 4 to 5 grand difference.

If you wanna talk underpowered the current XLR is underpowered even with 320 hp its way to expensive at $72,000
at 0-60 of 6.25 seconds (motortrend) with its 4.6L.

LS V8 does 0-60 in 6.4? Whoopdi doo big difference.

Just goes to show Caddy ain't better.

I wonder if the Caddy grew some ***** how much it would cost.

Now this here is not yur daddy's Cadillac !!!!

The Cadillac Cien

1000 Horsepower.

This is what would get me to consider getting a Caddy....nothing else.

If they build it, I will come. (no pun intended)

1) MSRP They are selling for less now because they are having trouble moving them out of the showrooms.

2) WTF are you smoking newbie? I was comparing apples to apples. Real XLR Specifications

3) I wonder.... If you grew a brain, would you learn to do a little homework, before you start talking trash about things you know very little about?

Ok if they are selling for less then why the **** do you bring 48,000?

Apples to Apples the LS and CTS don't directly compete with each other.

The V8 LS Premium competes with the 540i or 5 series in general.
(Lincoln Site)

The CTS competes with the V6 LS BASE and the BMW 325i in general the 3 series. (Cadillac Site)
Have you also noticed the huge price difference? They don't directly compete with each other.

Oh I'm sorry if I was off by .4 seconds with the XLR. But its still overpriced and underpowered. I could by a Z06 with less money and much better performance, heck I could almost buy a Viper with that kinda money and still get better performance. Hell I could buy a 2 SVT Mustangs with that money and still get better performance.

I wonder what would happen if you grew some brain cells .

I think someone needs to read the Aug. 11 edition of AutoWeek magazine.

In the past Caddy has been underpowered and overpriced. It seems as they are serious about changing that starting with the CTS-V ..

A 5.7 liter , 6 speed manual with 400 hp and 395 ft/lbs. of torque with est. sale price of $45,000. 0-60 in 4.6 secs.

Information for future reference:

You can not use the word **** in a post. When you use the word **** in a post it shows up like this = ****. It won’t work in the following cases either:

What the ****…
I think you’re a ****nut…
Look here you little ****…
This is ****ing bullchit… (You can’t use the word **** either)
I can not ****ing believe that…
Don’t **** with me…
I am ****ing tired of all this crap… (Use of word crap instead of ****)
Holy ****en cow, did you see that…

That is good for now, I think people get the idea.

If some can not understand the above examples then I guess all I can say is **** it…

The LS is a much nicer looking car, I think. I don't know why Ford is being so passive. Yes, SVT was a great idea. It's time to move ahead and give consumers what they want. More power!

If you haven't looked at Ford lately, it's probably because the other automakers are producing the vehicles you want. Look again in a year or two, to see if we've made any difference.
