OKAY... I have to interject here...

NO good female drivers? You must not come to MY neck of the woods too often. I have a PERFECT driving record (except for my accident which was NOT MY FAULT). I didn't get a ticket or points for it either.
I am a better driver than 95% of the men out there. I'm not one of those women who tries to put her makeup on in the car, or fusses with mirrors while driving, or changes the radio station a million times (well, I have a remote for that).
I used to be a bad driver (well, not bad, just not aware), but my ex was a OTR driver and he taught me ALOT about driving... things that nobody really notices or realizes that's going on around them.
For instance, when you're on the highway, and you see a sign with TWO exit numbers (example Exit 31A and 31B) do you know which exit will be first and what direction it will be heading?
Do you know what the interstate numbers represent? And what the exit numbers represent?
Me and my husband used to work for the American Traffic Safety Services Association... I'm also a certified TCT (traffic control technician) and trained to be a TCS (traffic control supervisor)... Can any of YOU tell me, in a work zone 100' long, how far apart the cones should be if you're closing 1 lane on a 3 lane highway with the speed limit 55 and the lanes 9' wide?
Hmmm??

Ok, I got it!
Do you know what the interstate numbers represent? And what the exit numbers represent?
31A = the exit number, the "A" means you're traveling in "A" direction
31B = you will be traveling in the opposite of direction A.
Can any of YOU tell me, in a work zone 100' long, how far apart the cones should be if you're closing 1 lane on a 3 lane highway with the speed limit 55 and the lanes 9' wide?
My guess is every 3 feet!
You could have at least made this a multiple choice test to make it easy.
(when in doubt, go with "C")

Odd numbers = North/South direction.
Distance for the cones I have no idea, but I like cones nonetheless...
