Does anyone know if there is a limit on how much you can sue the parents of a minor in Michigan that commits a criminal act that damages someones property?
I am not even sure where to search or what to search for. I know some states have a $2,500 limit, so if that is the case small claims will do. If the limit is larger, or there is not limit, then a lawyer would be in order.
