Backing out of parking spaces

OK, I know there have been several threads on here about parking in parking lots. But I have to tell this. I work at Walmart and our parking lot has the angled parking spaces that are supposed to make pulling in and backing out easy. These spots are also wide so that everyone can get in and out. It sure makes it easy for me in my F150. It is very hard for me to pull in and out of parking spaces that are not angled and are close together.

Well on to the story. I am going to lunch and am parked way out. Then I see this lady backing out of her spot and just had to watch. She had a small 4 door Mercedes and when she backed out, she must have thought she was going to hit the car beside her. But she was like 6 feet away from it. (Actually, I thought she was pulling into the spot and was just straightening up a little). Well she pulls forward, puts it in reverse and starts to back out again. This lady THEN stops, pulls forward again! Then on her THIRD try she finally backs out of the spot. I almost busted out laughing right there in the parking lot. I could have gotten a big F350 crew cab long bed dually out of that parking spot on the first try and still never came close to any of the other cars.

It is people like this that scare me when driving. If they cannot back a small car out of a simple and large parking spot, then I sure don't want to be around them on the road. If you can't back a small car out of a huge parking space, then you need to get off the road.
