You'll meet some people the first week you are there. Most people sit in the same spot for a class even though you are free to sit wherever you want. I met more people by sitting next to them in class than I did anywhere else.

A little tip of advice, the first day of class sit next to the hottest chick that you see because chances are you will know her pretty well by the end of the semester.

TSTC in Waco. Now, I don't know if there is going to be many hot chicks at that school because it is a technical college. But, I think there are other colleges close by, so I'm not worried. I would have to agree with you on the fact that texans are friendly. I love it down there whenever I visit.

Don't sweat it, college will go by so quick, it will be a passing memmory before you know it.

Study hard, and remember you are only there for 1 reason, to get an education. (think of it as a job)

Don't worry about the friends thing, that will happen naturally.
If you live your entire life, you can use the fingers on one hand to count your true friends, and still have fingers left over.

How does that saying go?
A friend will help you move, but a true friend will help you move a body. And remember to stay away from all the pot smoking that goes on there, don;t be a Habibi. (your brain cells will thank you later)

Remember we're only as far as your keyboard.
Make sure you take lots of pics of all the young hotties and post em up here for us old guys yp drool at.
(Ahh, college was fun, wish I could remember it)

Good luck, I'm sure you'll do just fine.

Habibi

A friend will bail you out of jail, but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying 'That F'ng Ruled!'

Can we trade?

College was a long time ago.
I remember that I didn't know anything and everyone was questioning me.

Now I know everything and no one asks.
