Man, go away for an hour or so and one simple question turns into a mega-post!!!!

Anywho, I was just curious - noticed a lot of people doing it. Matter of fact, I did it myself because everyone else was - you know, like the jumping off of a bridge thing.

My plate is special! Actually it's just the regular old letter/number combo

It's society. They have taught us to guard 'numbers and letters' like they are our only rights to life. (ie: SSN's, bank accnts, credit card #s). It's the way we're programmed.

If you really think about it, it's not like someone can't get your plate # while you're in the mall or heck, for that case, driving to the mall. We just don't regard that the same way as some do while posting a picture on the web. *shrugs*... I really believe it's in our 'programming'.

And hell, if you had a plate that looked like this:

Wouldn't you cover it up too?

Habibi, I have no grass to step on, and RockPick either has no grass to step on or it is so high you wouldn't be able to step on it...

Those of us here in Kentucky sincerely think that it's a clever ploy to sale more of the special plates... such as the University License Plates or the War Vet plates (all of which cost an extra fee per year that supports 'some type' of cause).

I had a buddy that called it the 'FOLLOW ME TO WAL-MART" plate... ROFL!

Needless to say, in very short order I'll have a Western Kentucky University (yes, I'm a college gradgeeute). My wife is already sporting her's... it's looks pretty sharp.
