Cool Do you name your vehicles?

Just felt like sharing an F-150 story. I got my first F-100 when I was 4 (Mom and Dad bought it when I was 4, but it was my first car.)! It was a 1982 F-100 XL Flareside. It was custom from the factory, two-tone (metallic chocolate brown and caramel colored), similar colored interior, with a 302 and 3-speed auto. His name was Brownie (blame mom!). Traded in '98 for Mom's new F-150.

My next one came at 17 when I was a senior in high. It was a 1996 Red F-150 XL styleside, 5-speed, 6-cylinder (named Red for obvious reasons). Kept it till I got my Bachelor's degree. That is where everything went downhill!

I sold my '96 (to a neighbor boy who just turned 16) and bought a loaded '01 Performance Red V6 Mustang (named R2 for Red 2). That thing was nothing but trouble. After encountering financial restraints, I sold the R2 and bought my grandmother-in-law's '94 Chevy Monte Carlo (no name). Another mistake. The Monte Carlo gave way to the '99 Tahoe (also no name). After that I swore I would never go Chevy again!

Present time, I traded the Tahoe for an Oxford White '03 F-150 XL Supercab Flareside. Everything is right in the world. I feel back at home in my new truck! Nothing makes you feel the way an F-150 does.

Ox (yes, the truck's name is Ox).

Does anyone else name their vehicles?

I call it Carolina. (Care-o-lean-uhh)

I call her Carolina because of what I've done in the truck with her(my girlfriend). If you catch my drift.

99 F150 is named 'Silver' after its color
76 Chevy 1/2t is named 'Green Bean' after its color
1972 Moto Guzzi is named 'Zeke' after a Far Side comic which showed a dog laying next to a chain saw and his owner telling the stranger not to annoy the dog because "Ol' Zeke will fire that sucker up".
