Not that it has anything to do with the hurricane, but we (Cincinnati) got CREAMED with yet another line of storms last night.

Me, my husband and the kids (4 of them) went to the Boston concert last night at an outdoor venue. All of a sudden, the sky got green/yellow and we saw lightening off to the west. We waited until we felt a few sprinkles, then decided to leave. We were the only ones that were leaving at this point.

When we got about 50 feet from the truck, the sky just opened up and poured buckets!! When we opened the doors to the truck, the wind blew all the rain inside, all over my seats (thank god for leather seats).

We heard tornado sirens the entire ride home. We couldn't even see the road, the wind and rain was so bad. Parts of the highway were flooded so badly that you literally had to crawl thru the puddles.

Funnel clouds were also spotted in our county, but I haven't heard anything today about damage.

Got some rain last night here in San Antonio, but nothing like I was expecting. I was thinking flood of '02 all over again. Most of the damage was south and east of here.
