It amazes me how people survive the most spectaculer accidents.
About a month ago, some dude in Toronto was drunk out of his head, and fell off his 14th story balcony.
Yes, 14 stories, not a typo, he falls all the way down, hits the top of a group of pine trees, and plunks to the wet grass waiting for him below.

The lucky ***** was taken to hospital for a few cuts and scrapes, and walks in there on his own power. He was released after an hour hospital visit and walked out.

It still boggles my mind thinking about it, because I know if I fell from the 2nd story, I would break my neck and drop dead on the spot, LOL

Ahh, the mysteries of life.
