Subject: The Ant and the Grasshopper
CLASSIC VERSION:
____ The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building
his house and laying up supplies for the winter. The grasshopper thinks
he's a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away. Come winter,
the ant is warm and well fed. The grasshopper has no food or shelter so he
dies out in the cold.
MORAL OF THE STORY: Be responsible for yourself!
MODERN VERSION:
The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his
house and laying up supplies for the winter. The grasshopper thinks he's a
fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away. Come winter, the
shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.
CNN, CBS, NBC, EURONEWS, BBC, ABC and Al-Jazeera show up to provide
pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his
comfortable home with a table filled with food.America is stunned by
the sharp contrast. How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?
Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper and everybody
cries when they sing 'It's Not Easy Being Green.' Jesse Jackson stages
a demonstration in front of the ant's house where the news stations
film the group singing 'We shall overcome'. Jesse then has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper's sake.
Tom Daschle & Walter Mondale exclaim in an interview with Peter
Jennings that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper,
and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his 'fair share'.
Finally, the EEOC drafts the 'Economic Equity and Anti-Grasshopper
Act', retroactive to the beginning of the summer. The ant is fined for
failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having
nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by
the government.
Hillary gets her old law firm to represent the grasshopper in a
defamation suit against the ant, and the case is tried before a panel
of federal judges that Bill appointed from a list of single-parent welfare recipients. The ant loses the case.
The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits of
the ant's food while the government house he is in, which just happens
to be the ant's old house, crumbles around him because he doesn't maintain it.
The ant has disappeared in the snow. The grasshopper is found dead in a
drug-related incident and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of
spiders who terrorize the once peaceful neighborhood.

Simple solution, the ant gives some food as payment to a bird. Grasshopper situation is put to rest… 
I knew I didn't like grasshoppers for some reason, they are cousins of the liberals and their hand out programs for the weak, stupid, and lazy who deserve to be put on an island with some seeds, water and common garden tools (no power tools) these people get shovels, rakes, hoes etc. He is also supplied with 1-month worth of common cheap food to eat while waiting for the seeds to grow. He will be on this island for 6 months.
There they are giving the facts of life:
Here are your tools and resources, if you wish to live you will find a way to survive, we would give you a book with instructions but figured your to stupid to read so here is a book with pretty colorful pictures.
First contestant states: “I don’t think this is fair that I have to plant food for me to eat, it should be giving to me free”
01 states: “Go over there in the water and feed the fish”
First contestant states: “But I have no fish food to feed the fish”
01 states: “In a few weeks YOU will be the fish food, so off with you, feed the fish or get your *** to work”
Contested has stayed in the water pouting like a 5 year old, as 01 departs the island on a helicopter.
First contestant speaking to himself: ”That 01 is a real *****, don’t care about anyone but himself, just a mean SOB”.
Few hours later the first contestant gets out of the water from being bored and realizing nobody is going to feed him decides to check out the pretty colorful picture book. Now he screws around with some of the nice new tools, still thinking 01 is a ***** for not giving him some power tools, and starts using them.
He plants some seeds and waters. This goes on for a while and he sees most of his seeds are growing and feels some pride in knowing he did something right, and on his own, while thinking “that sure was a pretty book with colorful pictures”.
About 6 weeks goes by and some things are ready to be picked and eaten. The man eats them and realizes “this chit taste damn good” and is feeling even more pride, just can not believe he planted this, watered it, made it grow and is now eating it. He goes to plant some more. Finally Mr. ***** is due to arrive in a day. The man beaming with pride wants to have many different things he has grown on HIS OWN to show Mr. *****.
Mr. ***** arrives and the man comes up to him and offers him some of the food he has grown on HIS OWN. Mr. ***** tells him this is very good you should be very proud and the man agrees and says “01 at first I thought you were a real ***** and just plain cruel, but now I like you a lot, you have taught me that I can indeed do something on my own, how can I ever repay you?”
01 (Mr. *****) states: ”Teach a friend the same thing I taught you.”
First contestant states: ”I don’t know how to teach pride’
01 (Mr. *****) states: ”You don’t teach pride, you teach someone they can do it on their own and then they will have pride, pride is priceless”
01 (Mr. *****) and the first contestant each open and drink a bottle of Coke…

The story perfectly represents what 01 and myself have been saying in the past. The story is perfect. it brings out poverty, laziness, racism, and taking the working smart "person/ant" and chastising him/her/it into poverty.
It is the hardcore liberal mindset at its finest. Except the story of the ant would never be heard.
It would be video of the ant..fat and happy in his nice warm home, sitting there all prejudice against greens while starving frozen greenies sat and died outside on his porch.
The liberals would never point out the ant being smarter, and harder working, planning ahead, made his life better on his own while the grasshopper laughed and made fun of the ant.
Or how the ant, being an honest hard working person, pays taxes and gives donations so the greenies of his world can get a free meal and a bed in some shelter he and the other ants either built or financed through there taxed incomes.
Yes that story is extremely accurate. Unfortunatley, it's very true for the human race as well.
