I like it

But JD's is right........Doing it yourself, does involve alot of self satisfaction. But just think if you start with a Lightning and add mods yourself, you just might end up with an 11 sec 4800lb pickup truck or something

Hey thats my truck. Drew is my borther on here. I love fords and wouldnt drive anything else but I just couldnt get a L it is mu dream truck. I woulda modded it all the same but i did what I could with what was given to me. The truck weighs 3200lbs plus me is 150 so the power to weight is pretty good. I think i overdid the gear ratio a little but that can be changed easily. I love pulling next to a mustang gt or camaro and revving then they laugh and then I PURGE!! haha... I love seeing peoples mouths drop. The truck runs high 14s off the spray which I dont consider too bad for a 3.0 V6 and PLEASE take into account, STOCK it ran 17.9 haha. I have come a long way and I feel that I finally acomplished a sleeper as long as I dont break any more rear ends. Yall have some gorgeous trucks on here and thanks for looking at mine, and thanks for posting this drew...you shoulda told me...

How does he keep the *** end down on the ground...???

I figured he would just sit and spin those tires....

Its a pretty cool little truck though....a perfect sleeper. No one in their right mind WOULD EVER suspect a ford ranger to them.

While I like it, my question is why a 3.0??? Why not get a 4.0 it is a far better starting platform.

Well with the 4.0 being a SOHC it would be harder to tear down and more parts are there to break. I wasnt sure on the strength of the timing chain or the cams (which will limit hp ). My ohv cam is easy to replace and the roller rockers make a huge differance. I dont know, but I feel the 3.0 is a MUCH stronger engine and modded can make more hp which I have proven. The fastest 4.0 I know put down 247rwhp mine will put about 220 off the spray and 320 rwhp on it. I really appreciate the comments and I am glad to see yall didnt cut down my truck just because its not a full size. To answer savages post, I do have traction problems, but the traction bars and the auburn posi sorta limit the problem to 1st gear only which is fast and POWERFUL! I am glad you see my point that its a sleeper, but i since have added a mustang GT hood scoop and clear corners. once again. THANKS!
