Ok, so I'm bored, and the next best thing to looking up **** is seeing when people joined. Well after much searching (not really) I see that the first members joined on 12-31-1969.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but the internet wasnt around then, and weren't they still F100's?

I was just thinking, webmaster why don't you delete some of the people that have never posted? I know that would take a while, but I'm sure it would free up you some webspace, and maybe some bandwidth.

 

That would be a good idea. I done a search a while back and found that out of the 40,000+ members registered on the site, only about 9-10,000 people have ever posted. I know many people used to sign up to use just the photo galleries before Steve changed that. Also many people just sign up to use the chat room sometimes.

Maybe he could send an e-mail to everyone that has never posted and tell them that he is going to delete their account on a certain date unless they respond saying that they want to stay a member. Like Lifeguardjoe said, that will save bandwidth and webspace for other things.

You are correct that numerous folks haven't posted however; it should be said that alot of those folks still surf around here but they just don't post and participate like others.

Sure, there are ways to tell if and when someone has logged in but, I'm pretty sure that it'd take a copius amount of time and that Steve really isn't interested in doing it.

Deleting all of them sounds great by theory but, so does Communism.

Some of us had accounts before we knew what we were doing here. How about those of us active members who have a "dead" account volenteer to have those deleted?

When I first joined I used spg2shy as a screen name. I will never use it again. That is one that could be deleted.
