Enough is Enough
This says it all! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
After hearing that the state of Florida changed its opinion and let a Muslim woman have her picture on her driver's license with her face covered this is an editorial written by an American citizen, published in a Tampa newspaper. He did quite a job; didn't he? Read on, please!
IMMIGRANTS, NOT AMERICANS, MUST ADAPT. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Americans. However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the "politically correct" crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others.
I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to America. Our population is almost entirely made up of descendants of immigrants. However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand. This idea of America being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Americans, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle. This culture has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.
We speak ENGLISH, not Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language!
"In God We Trust" is our national motto. This is not some Christian, right wing, political slogan. We adopted this motto because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.
If Stars and Stripes offend you, or you don't like Uncle Sam, then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from. This is OUR COUNTRY, our land, and our lifestyle. Our First Amendment gives every! citizen the right to express his opinion and we will allow you every opportunity to do so. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about our flag, our pledge, our national motto, or our way of life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great American freedom, THE RIGHT TO LEAVE.

That is the absolutely best article I have read. It is right on the money. This is America, not Iraq, or Iran, not Germany or France, not Indonesia or Africa, not Japan, South Korea, North Korea, not China, not Cuba, no it IS America.
We have our own culture and our OWN ways. It is a country based and born on Christian beliefs. Those that fail to see the truth in that are living in a closet, they are naive and misinformed.
To ANY ONE who is offended by the American flag I say this, GET OUT OF MY COUNTRY, and NO you do NOT have the freedom of speech. If you do not adore the flag, if you do not believe in the flag then you do NOT believe in the United States Constitution and therefore you do NOT believe in the rights it bestows upon everyone “Legally” in America.
When I have my debates with people I use this analogy as to why America should not, and must NOT change its ways for a few people:
This is my home and I have it arranged as I want. When you come into my home I will welcome you, feed you and try to entertain you.
However do NOT ask me to move my couch to another location, do NOT ask for me to move my TV to another location, do NOT ask me to repaint my walls, do NOT ask me to remove pictures of my family from my walls, do NOT ask me to drive a different brand of truck. IF you do not like my house, the way my furniture is arranged, if you do not like the pictures I have on my wall and you do not like my truck then I will politely ask you to GET OUT OF MY HOUSE and go to your own home and do what ever you please because when I visited you home I do NOT expect you to change anything for me, either I accept it or I can stay away from your home.
The fact of the matter is that these little moron’s that complain KNOW for a FACT that life in their homeland SUCKS beyond belief. They would not be here otherwise. You do NOT ever see a bunch of American’s running across a border, you do not see a bunch of American’s getting on boats and risking their life, you do NOT see a bunch of Americans in another country trying to make it to a foreign embassy for some type of asylum because we would NEVER dream of leaving the BEST country, the most POWERFUL country, the most FREEST country, the most WEALTHIEST country and the most KNOWLEDGABLE country in the world.
So to the dumb bit*h in Florida I would say GO HOME BIT*H if you don’t like the way it is, because in your home the MAN really RULES and you WILL DO AS HE SAYS, no questions asked…

have you seen her other photos? the ones where she was arrested in ill. for child abuse? yep she's had photos taken before without the veil, seems she didn't have much of a case.

Well I am against immigration. I say send em packing. If she wanted to drive in America, then she should go by our laws. I'm sick of people bending over to please the minority. I am still waiting for the day that the spanish stations have english sub titles. I bought a motherboard the other day and the English section is in the back of the book. Everything is is spanish now. Its getting to the point where its difficult to read directions or order food without knowing a foreign language.
Used to be a time when the majority ruled, and if you didn't like it tough. Everyone gets their feelings hurt. We have turned into such a passive whipped nation, Its no wonder why whites are becomming the minority now.
They shouldv'e sent that bit*h packing. Being arrested for child abuse, they shouldve revoked her visa and sent her away.
Man that pisses me off.

I don't know if she was convicted of the child molestation charge. If she was regardless of what her beliefs are or where she is from she should be with all the other sick basturds and living in prison until the day she dies...

I'm truly glad that she can practice whatever religion that she wishes within the borders of the US however; abusing the sole rights that are bestowed upon us as Americans is wrong.
I'm a Christian. I think they should come to my church, let me stand at the alter with a large cross in the background and take my next drivers license picture.
How would this be any different than what she has done? She stood up for her religion right?
Pretty soon, I envision the DMV being like the Sears portrait studio. You can choose your favorite backdrop and props (including live bunnies and chickens) for your license picture...
