Yes it does make sense!

First off I never said anything about trucks having to have BIG tires. All I said was really low profile tires on over sized rims looks really really stupid on a truck.

The reason I said that Lightnings are exempt is because they are purpose built street only fast trucks so they will need a lower profile tire for handling.

In fact in 99% of cases when you put super ugly "Dubs" on any vehicle including trucks that are 4 wheel drive you screw up the handling and safety of the vehicle.

Remember this is only MY opinion. You do what you want to your own truck just like the person did to the navigator in this thread.

I guess I should go out and buy some 22's for my wife's minivan since it has an LCD already in it!

yeha there are plenty of lowered duelys and "tricked out" AKA "riced out" navigators here. they plain look stupid and the trucks are always scraping their undercarages when they hit road humps (they are big speed bumps in the middle of the road)

Okay, take that picture and paint it purple, make the rims bigger and the tires smaller. Lower it and add an awful looking body kit that came half way up the sides and you will have an idea of that thing that I saw.

I agree that those roller skate looking wheels on trucks looks pretty stupid. To me, there is a point where putting bigger wheels on a vehicle does not look good.
