PDA question
PDA question
Totally off subject, but does anyone use a PDA to check email, etc. when traveling? I'm looking at one of the Dell PDA's that use the MS CE format. If you have tried it, do you like it, dislikes, etc?
I spend 1-2 nights per week in a hotel and don't really want another laptop (old one stayed with former employer).
Thanks,
Mike

The Dell PDA is pretty cool. I've got one.
As far as using it to check email, I don't know. I have a wireless network at home and can only occasionally get file sharing and wireless sync to work. In order to check email you'd have to wireless sync to your Inbox.
I'm not computer stupid, but it seemed fickle in the settings.
I only bought mine cuz my wife wanted one. Now she can't do without hers and mine just sits there...

mike,
I have a couple of friends that have the same phobia you do about laptops. They both use Blackberry Handheld devices.

Just one of the sites that sells or reviews them.
