mirror/clock

Wasn't really sure where to post this, so I figured everyone probably stops by General Discission at some time...

I know you've all seen the dimming rearview mirrors, and mirrors with temp/compass, but has anyone seen a rearview mirror with a clock in it? I'm trying to find a place to mount a clock. I've been working on a couple ideas, but I just thought I'd see if there's anything out there already.

In case you're wondering I usuall keep my CD/MP3 player set to display title and artist, so no room for clock, and I'm always trying to figure out what time it is at night when I can't see my watch easily...

I know, "big deal", but oh, well...

thanks...

This is a tough one.
I haven't seen such a mirror.

Get the cd of CHICAGO's Greatest Hits

When you want to know the time press selection (4)

Your CD/MP3 player will display the title,
'Does Anybody really Know What Time It Is?'

(Weak but, felt bad. So many views, no response)

Okay, Raoul shamed me into answering.

I had a similar problem in another truck I owned, I bought a cheap stick on digital clock and stuck it inside the center console on my 60/40 split bench. Lift the lid and see the time.
I know, weak, but the best I could do...

Hey, thanks for the replies guys...

What I'm considering right now is the clock from an early 80's Bronco (I just can't find one. If you have one I'm interested, please). It appears to be the same dimensions as the cubby hole in my aftermarket HU adapter, or close enough to fab something up. I've also got a clock from a new Eclipse I'm thinking about putting on the mirror or windshield. It's an LCD, and I pulled the backing off the one I had in my Eclipse, then put a light under it, so you could see through the clock to the circuit board. Also, thought maybe I could do something like that in the cubby hole with a green light.

I'll post a link to that clock see what you guys think...

Here's the link for what I did in my Eclipse. However, I just don't think this would look right since all the digitals in the truck are lighted green on a black background... but still thinking about maybe doing this again with a green light...

Like Rock....

I too am sure at some time I have seen one....trouble is remembering where.

Sooner or later one of us will remember (Doubtful it'll be me...the grey cells are falling away too rapidly) or see another one, and when we do....we'll surely let you know !
