Anyone Having www Problems?

I'm having massive www problems on just about every website that I'm visiting and, from the looks of it, a buddy of mine that is in IT is as well.

I'm using Internet Explorer (IE) 6.0

Very few graphics load and it is happening on every website from f150online to foxnews.com...

HELLLLLLLLP!

No sir, things humming right along....can you give me more details?

Maybe your ISP is fubar'd or something?????

If you are using broadband internet, ie dsl/cable, try unplugging your modem for say 10 minutes, if on a router, unplug it also, and see if you cannot pick up another IP addy and DNS server. Sometimes DNS servers do wierd things. Also clear your internet cache. I need a little more info I guess, I am stabbing in the dark with the limited info you gave. If you are on dialup its your modem. Replace and try again.

Everyone using IE? This is a GLOBAL problem (as I've talked to a buddy that is vacationing in Europe and logging on from an internet cafe')... he's having the same problems over there...

I dunno what the problem is. I have hit the major internet traffic reporting stations and cannot seem to find any major problems in your area RP.

North America is running at 90% effiecency with 0% packet loss.

THere is one Backbone down though

maybe you guys are hooked up to it?

Europe has a few problems but looked like they where resolved.

http://www.support.psi.co.uk/status/

That is a major backbone there.

LOL, I'm getting all my pics, graphics and running at 100%. But I am an IT admin and switched DNS servers and backbones. I can do that stuff

I have had no problems. Earlier we where having email problems and I changed some IP addy's but other then that no probs. Maybe I should quit hacking and put the old IP addresses in so the rest of you can surf

Yeah... I'm still on the dead backbone. The galleries aren't loading and the only smiley that will load out of the 'stock' list is the . Nothing else...

None of the signature lines are showing up either... IE acts like it's trying to download the images (in fact, it says it's downloading picture from https://www.f150online.com/forums/im...cons/icon1.gif right now)... it's not happening...

Oh well...

He who broke the backbone... will you please fix it?

Have you deleted your cache and temporary internet files lately out of Internet explorer. Everything has been loading up fine for me.

I already suggested that......maybe everyone having problems is using XP

I use either Linux (Suse, Mandrake, Rehat, Free BSD) or Windows 2000.

XP just pisses me off sometimes. Windows98 is gay and WinME ...sigh....

XP Pro here...

Cache deleted etc... I'm fairly well versed on this stuff... I can't, for the life of me, figure out what's going on...

It's obviously not just 'Kentucky' though... it's worldwide.
