Anybody see the F150 on Trucks? What did you think of it? I liked the short throw gear shifter on it.

 

nice truck! wish they had some 1/4 times to tell us. bet it would be a blast to drive.

Mellow.... That's been going on, off and on, for a while now. They must me getting mail.

 

You are correct..... I read online that many folks had complained about her 'unprofessional' attitude and appearance (me included) and that is was a negative to watching the Power Block. I'm still not wild about the concept of her interjecting her comments throughout the Power Block (not what I watch those shows for), but she's less annoying in her current format. Personally, I wish we could just have the shows and ditch the model commentator. Just my opinion.

I agree with BigDeal. Wondered how long she would be allowed
to go on with that behavior...her cutesy comments added nothing
to the power block and actually detracted from an other wise fine
set of shows.

 

but what if it was Pamela Anderson doing the ahh....commentating?

 

In all fairness guys, it's not her fault. If she wasn't exactly what the guys behind the cameras were looking for, she wouldn't be doing the show. She didn't come up with the concept, she was just the one who got hired to do the job. It just goes to show what the big wigs at TNN think about the guys who watch car shows. If that was what they thought would appeal to us, they probably think were a bunch of beer drinking, hell raising, redneck goobers.... or something. Hmmmm. I wonder why it didn't work?

I'd still vote to go without the model commentator. The Power Block (to me anyway) is totally about wrenchin' and racin', and for that short period of time on Sunday I'd like to concentrate on the content of the shows, not some model that couldn't find the hood release if we gave her an hour and a couple hints.

I don't really like how they are using her right now. I'd hate to see her lose her job, but it really don't make any sense having somebody recap what the show has already said. How long before TNN will change it's name to "SPIKE". I heard it is gonna be soon. Personally I think they should leave it tnn. Anyone remember when they had some form of racing every Friday night. Like swamp buggies or monster trucks. That was really cool for a while. They should bring that back. Also I would like to see bull riding come back on TNN every Sunday night. That was always fun to watch on Sunday Nights.

 

Wasn't that truck AWESOME!! Makes me wanna do that to the Expy.

 

you're right. i do miss that. and when SPIKE comes...i dont know what im going to with out my Power Block!
