Do any of you ever venture to the "other" boards, like the Dodge or Chevy forums?


The lack of knowledge simply cracks me up.

For instance, one guy with a 96 Ram 1500, 5.9 claims "my stock 5.9 eats modded 5.3's in a race." So 235hp beats 285hp in a lighter truck? News to me!

According to the same person, the 5.4l is weak, and under powered. It has NO torque. Uh huh, thats why it puts out more torque on the dyno than a 5.7 Hemi.


Man does it make you laugh, yet get so annoyed.

It's kinda like when people quote the stupid stuff in order to perpetuate it. Go figure.

Education does not make a person smart. I know plenty of "educated" people who are dumber than a bag of nails.

Then there's the "uneducated" people who are also dumb (that's a bad combo)

And of course, you have the uneducated types who have learned more stuff from the school of hard knocks, they really have it together.

I know what you mean thogh, Part of me wants to make a blanket statement "stupid *** chevy owners", but I can't because I know some chevy dudes who are pretty cool.

I dunno, they make life interesting. Say like on my job, I am the IT administrator for my company. I get a phone call from a new woman in another office that "ran out of mouse pad" and had no idea what to do. I told her I would call her back. After changing clothes from pissing all over myslef I instructed her to simply pick the mouse up and move it to the center and continue. I ended up driving down there and teaching her computer basics. Power, reset, icons, desktop and so forth. She was beating that poor mouse to death. I think about that from time to time and just laugh. Its just funny. Uneducated people make my life fun. Like liberals.

I work for doctors that cannot even wind up their wrist watches. I see some peoples brains as filing cabinets. One they are full, that's it. If you want to put any more in there, you gotta take something out and usually sacrifice things like personality, ability to drive, technological aspects and things of that nature.

They are funny to me.

Well I will agree with that. I was the third IT admin hired here to fix problems the first two could not comprehend. I get called to the hospitals and fix things over there also. Everytime some one comes and does something to a computer, or the network, I have to go in behind and fix what ever they did. I am lucky though, I custom built all 100+ computers here and designed, implemented, nd programed the routers for the wan and lan. I built the Email/Web server with Linux BSD and apache, and set up all the wan and internet connenctions through the phone company. Basically all 9 offices, computers and network run flawlessly. If I could get rid of power surges, electrical stoms, and dumbasses I'd be out of a job.
