Just saw a commercial for it....what does it pack? They said "supercharged" so I'm assuming the GTP mill (3.8 liter w/ M90 Eaton?)...

It's still a 4 door family car and of no interest to me.
IMO, there is no such thing as a 4 door Hot Rod.
I'm not saying there isn't hi-performance 4 doors,
I'm saying a TRUE HOT ROD
DOES NOT HAVE 4 DOORS PERIOD
Plus a Hod Rod is suppose to look at least a little hi performance,
Thats looks like something a Nun would drive

Speaking of nice 4 doors, here is a pic of a Mercedes that was parked across the street from my balcony yesterday. I believe it is a E430 with some mods. However, those exhaust tips look like some 45 degree slashcut truck tips (Magnaflow for example)...



Just goes to show some students at Purdue here are pretty loaded...(or their parents are)..

Weather you like it or not, it's Hot Looking, Crazy Fast, and it drives and handles awesome, yet you still can carry 4x8's, lawn mowers, furniture, pull a boat, WHATEVER....
The Lightning is a True Hot Rod

And like I said, I know there are some Hi-Performance 4doors,
SOME REALLY FAST ONES TOO
but IMO a HOT ROD DOES NOT HAVE 4 DOORS PERIOD,
no matter who makes it or how fast it is.

If I needed a family car and wanted 4 doors, and decided on a 6CYL for gas milage, I guess a S/C Chevy would be a possibility,
I know a RX-8 would and I happen to like the 4door set up on that. Ok maybe I like the 9000 Red Line MUCH BETTER and the fact that is does do 0-60 faster than a stock Lightning and will go 150 MPH stock, but the fact remains, a 4 door does not deserve a S/S Chevy Emblem. I've had many REAL Chevy S/S's, THIS IS NOT ONE

New impala=the suckness i hate it. i think it's chevy's attempt to cover up their fudge-up with taking away the Camaro. ill take an old impala any day. after all...there is no replacement for displacement

 

Umm BMW M5, Mercedes AMG, Muarader

The M5 is insane your typical 400hp 4 dr family car.
I'm thinking it will outrun a lightning, I'm sure someone will chime in with the exact 1.4 mile time

 

My friends dad had a 2001 M5, he took me for a ride in it and god damn is that one fast *** sedan! Definetely the ultimate of ultimates when it comes to big 4 door sedans haulin *** (until the new e55 amg comes out ). It handled amazing (expected from a bmw) and took off like a rocket! Very nice ride
