Yesterday the first 2004 Supercab Lariat rolled from the Norfolk production line.
Inside the new V8 5.4 V8 engine # 100 million.

Why do you think Ford picked the color red , marketing strategy?. Do you think this was discussed in the Ford board, what color to pick to introduce the first truck coming from the new production line.

What will happen to this truck?
It will probably end up in the Ford Museum, right.

 

They picked the color red because it catches the eye better than any other color. The color red says....Hey look at me!!! Get the point?

 

Peacemaker is right about red. Also it shows up quite well when photographed. Yellow is another one...but not as good as red.

 

Red is good, you know "Rosan, don't turn off the RED light"

 

Yellow is NOT good because it reminds A LOT of people of France...

 

It's a well known fact that men who drive red trucks have big dinks.

yep red catches the eye better, just ask the cop who gave me the 6 point ticket a few weeks ago in my g/f's red f150.

 

Those that really have them don't announce it. We just smile.
