OT Pink Floyd

I know this is going to get moved, but you guys are a wealth of knowledge!

Which Pink Floyd CD is it that supposedly can be played to "the wizard of Oz" and the whole thing goes together? Anyone know?

Darkside of the Moon. I hear that combo works even better with LSD

Use the THX version of the Wizard of Oz, in DVD format (works best).

Then get your Dark Side of the Moon CD and press play and immediately press pause so that it is ready to go.

Then when the MGM lion roars a third time, hit play on the Floyd CD and its amazing. Turn the tv down all the way and the CD up all the way.

The cd follows the movie and its pretty freaky.

Have fun!

How in the hell did anyone ever figure this out? If I were stoned enough to make the connection, I would definitely forget about it before the buzz was gone.

Finally, a use for the popcorn icon!

Okay, now I'm intrigued. This is the first time I've ever heard of this one...

I remember that there was some Zepplin song that, if played backwards, said 'its cool to smoke marijuana' or something like that... I think it was Led...

First I've ever heard of this one...

sometimes on PBS, they play the wizard of oz, and have the dark side of the moon playing as a SAP (second audio program).
your tv has to be compatible to listen.. you can swap back & forth between the regular dialog and the album..

There is all kinds of freaky stuff out there like in the original version of the movie you can see a munchkin swinging from a rope around his neck in the background behind the trees.

Disney animation has all kinds of subliminal shat in stuff dating back to fantasia. This is the first I have heard of the Pink Floyd/Oz deal. I just bought Dark Side of the Moon on a Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs Gold disc....should be awesome.

Sounds pretty trippy to me...

I had heard it was funny as hell to watch Mr. Rogers after smoking some weed, oh well guess people can't do that now that he is dead...

Won't you be my neighbor.
