It's nice to see justice served occasionally.
I remember watching this story on CNN last week, and it sickened me.

The fact that it even went to court is ridiculous.
This is the reason why I hate lawyers. "Scum sucking piiiiigs"
(I guess I don't mind lawyers when they are working on my behalf, but that's another story)

Thumbs up for the courts ruling!

I have to agree. It is refreshing to see the justice system work in it's intended manor. Things like this really bring being an American back down to Earth and put things into perspective.

Yeah, its about time.

Whats really a shame, is it had to come to this. Common friggin sense tells you that the photo is for ID.
If you face is covered, hows that going to be ID?

The easiest solution is don't drive a car and stick to driving camels

I am glad that she was ordered to take off the veil. I am not against other religions or ethniticities being in our country, but I do not think that it is right for them to get away with stuff that we could not get away with. We are the one of the only countries in the world that does more to help the minority groups. If we were to go to another country and try to do something like that, something really bad would happen to us. They would not bend their rules to allow us to do things like that, so why should we.

Besides isn't their something in our Constitution that says something like the separation of Church and State? That we do not cater to any one specific religion and that everyone is treated the same regardless of their religion?

If that is the case, then the government would have been in violation of our Constitution if they would have allowed her to keep wearing her veil.

So, she's one of us, pretending to be one of them.... I say lock'er away and throw away the key. Oh, that might be what she wants, free room and board and a chance to get an education at the taxpayers expense. Ah, thank God for the DMV finally unmasking the devil she is!!!!!!

She should get biatch-slapped for so frivolously wasting the court's time, and taxpayers money. This stuff sends me through the roof.

Even in strict Muslim countries, DL's photos for women must be "unobstructed".
What makes her think it's any difference here?

I know the answer! Parasites like her try to take advantage of western "freedoms" for personal gains. Maybe she was expecting a *****load of cash for her "inconvenience".

One of the stupidest bitch’s I have ever read about. She truly has no freaking brains what so ever. If she DON’T like the LAW’S of the land she can always LEAVE!!!!!

She must have thought for some moron reason she was special. As far as her “religion” aspect of this and stating her religion does not “permit” her to unveil, which is NOT the case, but if it were then I would say time to BAN that particular religion.

It is funny how some people like this stupid bitch seems to have a FALSE belief that any religion, or religion rituals are permitted here in America. That is NOT the case. It is not a country of anything goes as far as religion or anything else.

Freedom of religion has RESTRICTIONS, just because one belongs to a religion does NOT protect them nor PERMIT them to do what ever they want because of religion. That is important to remember. Before someone comes along and “attempts” to say I am wrong, don’t bother I am absolutely right.

If she even “thinks” about suing they should immediately ship her to her NEW found country somewhere in the middle east and then she can “actually” practice her religion completely, where she say’s nothing and does absolutely NOTHING without the MAN’S permission. If she pisses the MAN off she may find herself being beat to death or set on fire which is legal in some of these countries that she has “converted” to…
