I need your help
I know that you guys have come through for several people in the past so I am going to post this here.
About 7-8 weeks ago, I was laid off of my job. And ever since then I have been looking for one. But I have some things in my way like school. Right now I have 11 weeks left until I graduate from college. I will have a Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering Technology.
I am trying to find a job that is in my field of study now so that I don't have to start one, then quit whenever I get a better job. But the one major problem with finding a job is that I have to work night shifts while I am still in school because I go from 10:30-3:30 everyday.
I want to leave Jacksonville whenever I graduate, because this is mainly a sales type of city.
My questions are if any of you guys know of any companies that would be good for a person with a Bachelors degree and with only a year of work experience in electronics in the field of electronics.
Also I was hoping if you guys could give me some ideas about what areas of electronics that I could persue. I have done very well in school. I graduated with high honors for the associate program and should do the same thing for the bachelors program.
I need a job now, but I am trying to get in my field at the same time and it is proving harder than it looks.
Any suggestions?
Thanks guys

Not sure what to tell you...
The job market, under the entire blanket, is somewhat slow at the moment. Sure, some are hiring but, the majority are in a 'trim it back' mode or an overall freeze.
Best of luck in moving forward with your career goals. Something will present itself in due time. Be patient but, don't stop searching. There's something out there...
Good luck.

Thanks, Thats one of the reasons why I posted it on here, so I could see if anyone else had any ideas on what I can do and the different paths I can take. I want to make money so I went to school for electronics which is some very valuable knowledge. But now that I am almost done and searching for a job, I didn't realize that it would be this hard.
Guess I was wrong.LOL
Oh well, any other suggestions?
