truck pic issues
Sup all,
I need to update my truck pics of my Ranger. I found a bada$$ place to do it at but I'm concerned about some stuff first before I go doin something like this. It's an old possibly abandoned house on a back country road not too far from me. Like I said it's possibly abandoned and it's too hard to tell for sure from the road. It's a 2 story monstrosity older house, run, BIG, and from the road I can only see 1 boarded up window.
I think my truck would look awesome with some pics of that house in the background and it describes me too. I like scary, gothic, gory things and this is perfect for me.
Things I"m concered about are 1, If the Sherrif catches me, he's gonna get me for tresspassing. 2, I"m not 100% sure it is abandoned. I don't wanna drive up there and some guy or some freaky lookin old lady come out wondering wtf I'm doin there. AS of now, I have no way to tell anything about it, abandoned, or anything. I just don't wanna get busted by the Sherrif or someone come out the house and call the cops on me or whatever. My truck would look sweet as hell with the house in the background and the scenary describes me. Should I go for it??????? 91

First what you should do is just drive up their and knock on the door. If someone answers explain to them what you’re talking about, that you just love their house and it would mean a great deal if they were to allow you to take some photo’s of your truck with their house in the background. They may very well let you do so because of the complement and then they may not. If not, then that is just how it is.
If no one answers, or it does not look like anyone is living there then go to the local Sheriff’s office and ask what the status of the house is, for example, is someone living there or not. If not then ask for permission if you could go up there to take some pictures as you described. Worst thing they are going to do is say no, if they say no, then that is how it is.
Here is the problem if you just “go for it” you very well could find yourself charged with trespassing, or some other crime. If something were to happen to the house or what ever and someone seen you there then they will be looking for you and you could find yourself in some trouble. The property belongs to someone, someone other then you so you just can’t go up there and start taking pictures. Is it possible to take pictures of your truck parked on the street with the house in the background? If so that is perfectly legal, otherwise your are invading someone else’s space and that is not right.

Tks 01, I will look into the house's status. I would take some pics from the road but the house sits far off the road and all the trees and crap are overgrown. 95% chance it is abandoned but I still look into it. Tks 01,,,,,,,91
I hope you can get some pics of the house. After talking about it in chat, I would like to see what it looks like. If you do, just make sure that you post them on here because now, you have me interested about it.

Well, I went out there and sure enough I had a small hunch all along the house was occupied, I was right. Little old lady who lives there and can't maintain it anymore, she didn't want her house on the net, so she asked me polietely to please leave. Too bad, that house is sweet as hell looking,,,, 1 window boarded up, trees draping all over it, siding all chipped and messed up, and BIG as anything. Would make a perfect haunted house. Oh well, keep searching,,,91
