Inferno
Yeah, the animals and people are ok.
Long story, but the tracking dogs led the police right to the little basturds back door, and they have been arrested for B&E and (occupied) arson.
One of the kids had told the cops (after much grilling, lying, and grilling again) that he started a fire because he was cold. It was almost about 11:30am and 70 degrees out. Somehow he decided to add gasoline from one of the gas cans, and when it flared up, he ran. Forensics found gasoline everywhere. We had a 5gal can, 3 - 1gal cans, (for mixing with oil for the chainsaws, and weedwhackers) and a 2gal can of gas, that we kept all in one spot. They found the biggest one, very far away from where we kept them. The fire was so hot it charred trees, and melted things up to 30 feet away. The house is about 6 feet away, but it quickly caught too.
Odd, the kid didn't get burned. To me that would indicate he was at a safe distance when the fire became out of control.
