17" monitor for $69.99

www.tigerdirect.com is having a sale on a ProView 17" Monitor for $69.99. Of course this is a rebate offer.. you pay $139.99 and then get a $70 rebate.

I've built 3 computers with parts I bought ALL from Tiger Direct so I definitely trust them.

Anyway, I thought some of you might be interested in a new monitor at a REALLY good price.

Be sure you check it out good . I have bought alot from tigerdirect usually with good results but I bought one of those deals with a trinitron tube and it had 2 rows of burned out pixels , the replacement was even worse . Had to get refund

Sorry to hear about your problems.. I've had nothing but success with them. Other than them being out of stock of 1 or 2 items I ordered.. everything worked perfectly.

I haven't bought a monitor from them though.. so I can't speak from experience with the monitors they sell.

Be careful because you get what you pay for. Which in this case is a $140 monitor on sale for $70. Look beyond the sales hype and see what your actually getting. A $70 monitor. Seems if they can afford a loss that big, the brandname of the monitor must not be that good. If it were a high priced, high qaulity monitor, they wouldn't be so eager to cut the price in half. They would sell them for, or over what they have invested in them. I'm not saying the monitor is a piece of crap, just saying to look at the issues before buying. If it were me, I' buy a slightly higher priced monitor. Because when quality is an issue, so is the price. They work hand in hand. But that's just me. Good luck!
