Earth Day!!!!!!

So how was everyones earth day yeasterday?

I spent mine clubbing baby seals and tossing dirty non-biodegradable diapers into the lakes.

Aside from Celine Dion comeback special, cell phones and Hillary Clinton, I think we're quite far from the ecological apocalypse often predicted.

Also, dont you fell a bit silly being over the age of 8 and saying "earth day"

I ran a few barrels of texas tea through my V8, cut the catlytic converter off my truck, logged some trees that had spotted owl nests in them, harpooned a couple of whales, bought some ivory off of the black market, and finished the day off by using some used motor oil for weed control

Happy Earth Day!

I know 01 spent the day doing everything he could to help the environment...

Man oh man all my good friends in one place...

I had a hell of a earth day, I helped to try and curb Global Cooling. Since Global Warming has now been proven a myth, by nut cases that love sticking their little woody into a hole in the tree (I think they call it bonding with nature) I spent my day trying my damnest to burn up as much TOXIC waste from within Mother Earth (oil)

Will someone please contaminate some groundwater while we're on the earth bashing thing? I need some backlogged work...

Environmental clean-ups are a tad more difficult to come by now... so, if anyone knows of anyone needing some environmental compliance or remediation, please don't hesitate to point them my way.

Yeah School. The company I'm with designs, builds, and maintains a bunch of air sparge/soil vapor extraction (AS/SVE) systems nationwide. We also have a few ion-exchange systems running to remedidate metals contaminated groundwater sites.

Ahh, the life of a geologist.

you see, Earth day is more than just "I bring my own shopping bags to the grocery store, I clean oil-covered birds on vacation, and march with 140,000 dirty hippies in Washington" Its movment to look to when one begins feeling down about thier own existence. “How could my life become any more laughable?” we all ask our inner loser from time to time. “I know, I’ll join the environmental movement which will remind me that I am far from the bottom of humanity’s carnivorous food chain.” The global warming should be put in its proper place, in the corner wearing a dunce hat with thumb firmly in mouth.

Ah, cant wait till next year.

Well.....After back-flushing my cooling system into the gutter, I left my truck ideling all afternoon while enjoying spotted owl soup followed by deep-fryed breaded snail darter. Cooked em over an open fire of burning tires started with all the old leaves from last fall.

I'm old enough to remember the magazines warning about the next ice age coming. Global cooling was scaring everybody before the current global warming bull*****.

Anybody got any cans of R-12?

It was Earth day?

Even though I didn't know it was Earth day, I still did my part by burning all of the gas that I could.
