Rice on the rise??

Is it me, or does it seem that "Rice" is on the rise?
Since we've been having nicer weather lately, the sightings of rice have been more frequent, it's like an infectious disease that's spreading in my city, LOL

Yesterday, there was this totally tacky riced out Honda cruising the streets without a hood. I end up parking beside the guy, and when I stepped out of my truck, I had to go over and look.
A couple of Asian dudes were sitting inside it, and I said "hey cool car, I thought you had one of the plexi-glass hoods"

The dude is grinning from ear to ear, and says "naah, I just took it off for the day cuz it looks so cool"

AHAHAHA, man, I wish I brought my camera along.

Today I was up on the hill taking some pics, when another ricer pulls up next to me, but this time I sneakily snapped some pics.

Anytime I see a tacky pos rice-mobile, I always ask myself "WHY?"
Do you guys know why? Because I just don't see the cool factor in it.

Don't take this post the wrong way, I don't want to outlaw rice, because then there would be one less thing to laugh at.

Habibi

Check out this gem that I photographed today:

I saw an integra about a week ago be pulled by an F250 that looked very clean. It looked like a show car and was painted Kawaski green. Well that was the color the guy said. Not all rice cars are crap. Just most of them.

Fast and Furious 2 is on the rise this summer.

If you want a good laugh, go park at the theatres when it starts showing. You will see a flood of them.

So true!! I remmeber when the first one came out, we were at the movies to see another movie, and I thought it was "Rice Convention" it was so bad they even had policeman patroling the parking lot! and of course they were all "peeling out" when they left...and the cops were all waiting for them to write those tickets! It was a show all on it's own! I am staying clear of all movie theatres when #2 is released! Although, you are correct Habibi, they are only good for a laugh!

Habibi:

Man that is one hell of a WIND BRAKE on that ricer...

The smuck must have been told that by putting that useless weight on the back of his ricemovil that it would add like 40hp...

My favorite are the ricers around here. Thay have those ridiculous wings, gold trim on the wheel wells and big rust holes in the body.

"custom ventilation" hehe

I wonder if you pour some hot water on them ricer's if they swell up, you know like when cooking rice...

There are some UGLY @ss one's driving around here. I would never drive one that looked like some of this crap, but if I had to it would have to have dark black tint that kept 100% of the light out. I wouldn't want anyone seeing me drive one of them...

Well of course he "thinks" he is running around on 18", this is the type of dumb @ss that thinks stickers add 10hp each, and the big NASA spoiler on the back adds 40-60hp...

Good forbid this kid gets him hands on a purple bottle...

I saw a car the other day that was a late model 4-door family car. Not sure what kind it was, But the damn thing had an aluminum spoiler on it that looked like someone custom fabricated it. It even had rivets in it for cryin' out loud. LOL! And it had some yellow tape along the bottom of it. Talk about cheesy...

It might mean that he used Zaino and had to cover up the areas that he blotched up pretty bad...
