Did anyone show up to actually play?
I thought the players hailed from the U.S, Canada,Russia ect, but from the way they played[and i use that term loosely] the entire 02/3 team must be from France.

Beaten in the first round..swept in four...and by the Ducks?????

A bunch of feathered, web footed, wadling friggen ducks.

Whats there new slogan going to be on the locker room wall nex't season ?....."Fear the Duck"

The damm Lions could have put up a better effort.

A couple years back, they were swept by the Devils and that was also suprising......but i can relate to "Fear the Devils" somewhat easier than "Fear the Duck"

And i didn't have to stay up until 2 am watching in horror,when it was the devils.

I guess it could be worse...they could have lost to the mostly French "Canadians" who never made the playoffs.

 

I was at those Devils games in '95. Before the 4th game, in the parking lot everybody was tailgating with brooms (Sweep).

I was real surprised they got swept by the Ducks this year. I guess it makes for interesting hockey though. I don't follow the West too much, but the East looks like it is going to be Devils vs. Flyers or Leafs and Ottawa vs. Caps or Lightning.

The Devils/Flyers or Devils/Leafs games will be worth seeing because there is a huge rivalry between them.
