Electronics market

I have been out of the electronics market pretty much since 9-11. I have also been pretty much looking for a job since then. At least a job that I don't hate.
I have a BSc in Electronic Engineering Technology from Devry.
I worked for Avnet Electronics as an Account Manager for three years before getting laid off. Before that I worked for Nortel as a Test Tech.
Does anybody have any job leads for me !??!?
I've had enough of Canada and would love to move to the US.

I used to work for a company called Baker Atlas. They are an Oilfield service company and part of the Baker Hughes group which is one of the 3 largest in the world.
They always have jobs for Electronic guys as it is a very big part of their operation.
The main facility is in Houston but they have bases all over the world including quite a few in Canada.
I worked for them for 18 years and they were always a good employer. The money and benefits were very good. I only left because i got a much better offer that they couldn't (or wouldn't) match.
On their website, there is an interactive job search facility.

Follow this link and good luck.

I'm an Electronics Technician working for a small Variable Frequency Drive repair company here in Dallas, TX.
I hate to say we just laid one of our employees off. We only have 4 techs now.. glad I wasn't the one laid off.
Business has been kind of down.

Anyway, I just wanted to wish you luck in your job search.
I know there are a lot of people out there looking for jobs.

I am afraid that I don't have much of a chance finding anything good anytime soon.
