Angry I am so p!ssed!!!!!

[rant]About a year ago I bought a new garage door and had it installed. I wasn't happy w/ the installation at the time - they left the cardboard the door came in strown around the garage, large screws all over the garage and driveway, and the door didn't seal gainst the sides. Then they tell 2 of the panes got damaged during transport and I should be able to get them replaced free of charge. (I supplied the door, they just to installed it). I was pissed then because they put up the door and were going to have to come back and fix it when I got the panels in, and were going to charge me a service call to fix the door.

Fast fwd about a year - about 2 weeks ago my wife tried to close the door and it only closed halfway, she opened it and tried to close it again - same thing, it only went down halfway. I go out and look, and the arm to the door opener has rotated past the normal angle and has bent up the top panel (apparenlty the door jammed and the arm didn't stop). I pulled the release cord and started operating manually. last weekend I discovered one of the rails is nowhere close to straight, and the corner of the door looks like it has been smashed because the door opener wasn't adjusted properly.

Today I come home and open the door manually. Drive my truck in and hear short SCREEETCH. Automatically I'm going "WHAT THE F@#K WAS THAT! I get and look around not knowing what it was, I noticed the door wasn't quite up all the way, but there are no paint marks on the door. I climbed up in the bed and sure enough, the center of the cab has scratches down it. Luckily they're not very deep.

I am so pissed at those lazy F#$kers that didn't do there job right - there is nothing I hate worse the incompetance!!!!!!!!!!!
[/rant]

I guess I'll venture over to body - general care forum and see what I can find out about getting the scratches out.

oh yeah, I should've known better when the ad in the phone book said something about being Christian owned and operated...

I've always had good luck with those companies. You should've made them make good 'during' the installation. The guys doing the work aren't necessarily Christians. Could be atheists for all you know. I'd talk to the owner of the company and try to settle it with him/her.

Man, that sucks! I'd find someone else to fix the garage door. And stand over them to make sure it's done right!
