Lights and morons
I am wondering if anybody is having this problem, Here goes when i drive at night without and i mean without my highbeams on and approch any Car,truck whatever from behind they get pi$$ed at me thinking i have my Highbeams on and i don't. After i pass them they then get behind me and turn there's on and try to blind me.??. Is it because our headlights are higher up and blinds them or are they of a brighter quality, Does anyone else have this problem with people. My headlights are just ford stock no bumper lights just headlights.
Now i don't want to get pissed but if it keeps happening I may have to "shock and awe" one of them.

You really want to shock and awe them?
Get yourself a 50,000 candlepower light, mount on the back of the cab, when they hit their high beams, you give them the concert light show BOOOOOOOOOM.
They may not be able to see for a few days, but they may think twice the next time before turning their damn high beams on…

I had the same thing happen to me. See, I was on the highway at night approaching a car that could'nt seem to do the speed limit. And when I got about 2 or 3 car lengths behind the guy, he slows own even more and starts readjusting his rearview mirror. I thought, WTF? So I go around him, and then he speeds up to get on my a$$ and turns his high beams on. Mind you that my low beams were on all the time during this inncident. So that got me to thinking my low beams were to bright, or this fellow is too sensitive to light or something. I don't know the answer to your question buckdropper. But I've often wondered the same thing.
Yup, as long as you have you headlights aligned correctly, frying their freakin' retinas is fine...just make sure it isn't a cop you do it too.

That crap happens to me, too. If I notice them slamming on brakes or otherwise indicating that they think my highbeams are on, I will flash my Highbeams a time or so so they see what the HB's really are. I was coming back from hunting once back in the winter and had a guy flash his brakes at me and had a 1,000,000 candle watt rechargeable spot light with me. I picked it up from the seat and lit up his entire world. No more problems. I think mine came from Target and was only about $20.
I would think you would have to following close to the car in front for this to happen. I like at least 2 seconds between my truck and anything in front of me and I've never had this experience.
ROFL @ 01 XLT... SHOCK AND AWE... ROFL!!
I can just see that now...

When I had my F-150 4x4, I got that alot. I think it is due to height of the lights. When I drive other cars, I notice that truck/SUV lights are higher and can line up just right in your rearviews. It is common sense. Just compare the bumper and light height on trucks compared to regular size cars.
So my answer....yes, they are morons.
