Colin's a great guy, but I believe he has said that he would never run for president. He'd get my vote if he did, though.

I hope that Colin Powell will run for Pres. in 2004. He has become kind of a yes man for W. , but that is his job as Sec. of State I guess. I still would much rather see him in the White House than W. and would vote for him in a heartbeat. He is incredibly intelligent, and is a much better diplomat than W. could ever hope to be.

It would take him or John McCain to be running, for me to vote Republican in the next election.

yeah, too bad Colin won't run for President. I remember he stated that he would want more time for his family rather than be President. One of the big reasons I would vote for him is the main reason he will not run for President.

MN4X4 - I disagree with you. W blows McCain away. I would like to see Colin in 2008 - Bush in 2004

No, no, no. Jesse Ventura will be president in 2008. And Rick Flair will be VP. Can you imagine that?

God no! The day Jesse Ventura becomes U.S. Pres. is the day I move to Canada! I would rather see card carrying KKK member Trent Lott (would never happen, just trying to make a point here) in for 2 terms as Pres than Ventura ever holding office for even one day. Having him as Gov. for 4 years was bad enough.

What the heck has Giuliani done to make him so great???? Co-ordinate Federal Gov. help? Gone on TV telling everyone what a great job he's done with 9/11? Don't get me wrong but he had a great civic crew that made the difference, not him. He was just the unfortunate one to be into the spotlite.

What has his leadership(?) done to warrant electing him for president?

Well he's very cool under pressure for one thing. Another thing is he lowered the crime rate in NYC to the lowest it has every been. Vote for him for President? I am voting for Hillary, so so Bill's in the public eye
