My Pizza guy (a friend of mine) has a brand-new Acura (I don't know the exact model, but it was around 28grand) and it was sweet. Shiny black, 6 speed tranny, just loaded, and today he brought the pizza over and he had put a body kit on it and was talking about adding a spoiler, he said he already has the Z3 fenders on order. It is going to be so rice, and that sucks because it was a beautiful car. My friend (the guy does not understand rice at all or the reason why people want their cars like that, he is just a hillbilly I guess) said "Did you wreck your car, man?" and the pizza guy said "No, I just got a body kit put on it." and my friend said "Why?" and we got no answer. He said Greddy is making a turbo that will give him 318 rwhp, and I said "Yeah, I would love to see what it would do against a Lightning" and he laughed and said "A Lightning would probably kick it's a$$, even after my turbo!" I smiled and gave him a decent tip and went on, he has decent taste in automobiles, anyway, at least it wasn't stickered out!

 

At least he was'nt one of those guys that brags that their car will beat anything on the road. He was right about the Lightning, it would beat his car even after the turbo. Just keep him from putting Type-R stickers and a fart can muffler on it. That ain't right!

Appearance wise, a Lightning is an F-150 with a body kit.

 

Lightnings also post MONSTER 1/4 mile numbers, too, though!
He did show major respect when I brought up Lightnings, though, I never let it go with people who have rice on the brain!

 

I would have to respectfully disagree. I don’t have a Lighting, would love to, but don’t.

I would say the Lighting is an F150 with a serious performance kit. It does have some body molding, but it flows so well with the truck.

On the other hand, the ricers I see don’t really have so much flow to them. To me some of their “body kits” look like they would hinder their car aerodynamically, some of it looks like some kind of air brake… LOL

I wish I could find some of them horsepower adding stickers though…

 

You might want to remind the Pizza Guy that his car makes fwhp (i.e. not rwhp), regardless what the number is. That is unless he drives something I've never seen before.....
