This guy needs to go

Monday, March 17th, 2003

George W. Bush 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Washington, DC

Dear Governor Bush:

So today is what you call "the moment of truth," the day that "France and the rest of world have to show their cards on the table." I'm glad to hear that this day has finally arrived. Because, I gotta tell ya, having survived 440 days of your lying and conniving, I wasn't sure if I could take much more. So I'm glad to hear that today is Truth Day, 'cause I got a few truths I would like to share with you:

1. There is virtually NO ONE in America (talk radio nutters and Fox
News aside) who is gung-ho to go to war. Trust me on this one. Walk out of the White House and on to any street in America and try to find five people who are PASSIONATE about wanting to kill Iraqis. YOU WON'T FIND THEM! Why? 'Cause NO Iraqis have ever come here and killed any of us! No Iraqi has even threatened to do that. You see, this is how we average Americans think: If a certain so-and-so is not perceived as a threat to our lives, then, believe it or not, we don't want to kill him! Funny how that
works!

2. The majority of Americans -- the ones who never elected you -- are not fooled by your weapons of mass distraction. We know what the real issues are that affect our daily lives -- and none of them begin with I or end in Q. Here's what threatens us: two and a half million jobs lost since you took office, the stock market having become a cruel joke, no one knowing if their retirement funds are going to be there, gas now costs two dollars a gallon -- the list goes on and on. Bombing Iraq will not make any of this go away. Only you need to go away for things to improve.

3. As Bill Maher said last week, how bad do you have to suck to lose a popularity contest with Saddam Hussein? The whole world is against you, Mr. Bush. Count your fellow Americans among them.

4. The Pope has said this war is wrong, that it is a SIN. The Pope!
But even worse, the Dixie Chicks have now come out against you! How bad does it have to get before you realize that you are an army of one on this war? Of course, this is a war you personally won't have to fight. Just like when you went AWOL while the poor were shipped to Vietnam in your place.

5. Of the 535 members of Congress, only ONE (Sen. Johnson of South Dakota) has an enlisted son or daughter in the armed forces! If you really want to stand up for America, please send your twin daughters over to Kuwait right now and let them don their chemical warfare suits. And let's see every member of Congress with a child of military age also sacrifice their kids for this war effort. What's that you say? You don't THINK so? Well,
hey, guess what -- we don't think so either!

6. Finally, we love France. Yes, they have pulled some royal
screw-ups. Yes, some of them can be pretty damn annoying. But have you forgotten we wouldn't even have this country known as America if it weren't for the French? That it was their help in the Revolutionary War that won it for us? That it was France who gave us our Statue of Liberty, a Frenchman who built the Chevrolet, and a pair of French brothers who invented the
movies? And now they are doing what only a good friend can do -- tell you the truth about yourself, straight, no b.s. Quit pissing on the French and thank them for getting it right for once. You know, you really should have traveled more (like once) before you took over. Your ignorance of the world has not only made you look stupid, it has painted you into a corner you can't get out of.

Well, cheer up -- there IS good news. If you do go through with this war, more than likely it will be over soon because I'm guessing there aren't a lot of Iraqis willing to lay down their lives to protect Saddam Hussein. After you "win" the war, you will enjoy a huge bump in the popularity polls as everyone loves a winner -- and who doesn't like to see a good ***-whoopin' every now and then (especially when it 's some third world ***!). And just like with Afghanistan, we'll forget about what happens to a country after we bomb it 'cause that is just too complex! So try
your best to ride this victory all the way to next year's election. Of
course, that's still a long ways away, so we'll all get to have a good hardy-har-har while we watch the economy sink even further down the toilet!

But, hey, who knows -- maybe you'll find Osama a few days before the election! See, start thinking like THAT! Keep hope alive! Kill Iraqis -- they got our oil!!

Yours,

Michael Moore www.michaelmoore.com
He seriously needs to be leading the human shield brigade.

and no I don't suscribe or visit his site, this was forwarded to

I agree with you. I couldn't get through the second paragraph though...

There was a question as to whether they should cancel the Oscars because of the impending war.

I say they should cancel it, but not because of the war. They should cancel it because a lot of the actors/actresses had already said that if they won then they would stand up and give antiwar speaches. I think that is total BS. They don't know anything about anything and just because they are famous, they think people will listen. Not a good way to show the rest of the world that you are standing behind your country's decision. They should just shut the F up and thank all of the people who got them there. Just my opinion.

I have opposed the rush to war, for a variety of reasons, But this guy is a lunatic. I've been on the streets, and in the barbershops, and the grocery stores. I was in the minority. Most of my friends are all for the war. It's time, they say, to stop this crap before he hits our shores again and again and again. Giving Iraq (and a few other countries) more time only allows them to gain strength and momentum.

I think he's wrong, but he's got a right to say it. We have just as much right to ignore him.

If you dont think that they have in any way shape or form killed Americans, what happened in the Gulf war and on 9/11?
duh

if we let them build their military and weapons forces up to a huge arsenal of nukes and biological weapons, they could put nukes in place of 747's--now thats scary

we will be attacking Iraq to promote peace, disarm an evil ruler, and set the people of Iraq free of his ruthless leadership. Whoever wrote this article should try telling his opinion to the NY fire dept--he wouldnt last long

In case the author ever reads my response---**** YOU!

This guy need a lesson in economics & history. I'm no expert in either field, but I know that the country's economy was screwed up before Bush came into office. It just hit it's worst peak while he was there, partially becuase of 9-11.

Well, I have interviewed ten people so far, and all of them (including myself) ARE gung-ho to go to war. Iraq's government needs to be reformed, and they have not met the guidelines that were set out for them. Break the rules, you get dealt with, get over it. As for the French and whoever else doesn't appreciate their freedom, they can kiss my butt. Freedom isn't free, and sometimes (even though war is not good), we DO have to fight to protect our rights. Real world, people, Saddam Hussein needs to be removed from power, he is a tyrant and if he stays in office he WILL fund more terrorist attacks on the United States, so Screw Iraq AND France. A TRUE friend would support you even if you were wrong, and not try to make you look like that bad guy in front of the rest of the world. France's government consists of nothing but cowards. I vote that when we remove Hussein, let's put him in charge of France, then see how they feel.
Go America!

Michael Moore ...
Isn't that the guy who is reaping huge profits off his movie 'Bowling for Columbine' that basically shows executions and does so to promote his anti-gun beliefs?...
didn't he also say he could easily be elected the president of the NRA?...

Consider the source and don't give this jackass anymore free publicity

Michael Moron Moore:

First, what we are in is the Clinton recession. This began approx. 6 – 9 months prior to Billy and little ***** leaving the Oral Office. Now at the moment is not completely *****’s fault we had what is now known as 9/11. In case your were busy toking the piece pipe with your French buddies that day what happen was some really big airplanes flown by some really mean bad guys supported by Bin Laden and Saddam flew these big airplanes into some very tall buildings in New York. It killed thousands of people over 3,000 people, really look it up in a back issue of a newspaper.

You see your really good friend Billy “getting a **** job” Clinton let one of the bad guys responsible for this just get away. He had many chances of having Bin Laden taken out (means KILLED) and he just ignored it, kind of like ignoring giving China information for nuke technology, kind of like ignoring North Korea and their nuke program. Who can blame the guy, I mean who wants to mess around with really mean people when you can sit back in the Oral office and get serviced?

During Clintons 8 years of dis-service to America he just basically ignored everything, well except innocent women, but the important things to America, Like Saddam, Bin Laden, North Korea, China, poor people, the blacks, the Latino’s, etc. He was a very fortunate man to have a great economy by absolutely no means of his own. It was an economy that President Regan had built for him. You remember President Regan do you not? He is the one responsible for “the wall” coming down and ending communism, something that really pissed off the liberals in this and other countries.

You see it takes years, many years, for any policy change to have an actual effect on the economy. Now we are beginning to see the effects of your pal Clinton’s policies on the economy, not to good you think? This is what happens when you take money away from people who invest it into business which creates jobs, which creates a bigger pool of tax payers, which creates more tax revenues, which creates more government surpluses, which creates more liberal spending on the lazy bastards that do not deserve any damn steak at all.

So what Slick ***** did was take some, actually A LOT of that money away and redirected, or stole, or redistributed it to the lazy bastards so they can eat steak every night. This made it much harder for business to invest in things like capital equipment, which could lead to shorter process times, better quality, which leads to less cost to the general public, which leads to more sales, which leads to higher demand, which leads to MORE JOBS!!!!

NOW that is all the truth, you may not want to believe it, but reality kind of sucks doesn’t it?

Now, because of Billy boy and him being to busy with the ladies and other adventures it is now up to a REAL LEADER, a REAL MAN to get the job done that you socialist liberals never seem to have the ***** to do. So you go hide yourself in a closet and dream of you’re never, never land of utopia but know this IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN, EVER, and that is a FACT, utopia is an hallucination brought on by some serious brain cell killing drugs.

Your buddy Billy Boy LOVED the polls you should try viewing them and you will find, you MORON, that the vast majority of Americans, somewhere around 80% SUPPORT going to war.

You will also find that as every damn hour goes by hundreds of thousands of millions of the rest of the worlds population is ON BOARD with us. Look at your second home away from home FRANCE.

You what to know the most important people in the world ON BOARD with us is?

The people of IRAQ, are you going to apologize to them when it’s all over? I don’t think you will, you’re a boy not a man, you follow the small crowd.

On with yourself, you’re a waste to the human race and why there should be some form of testing for moron’s with the stupidity gene…

- 15,000 members of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault)

- 15,000 members of the 82d Airborne Division

- More than 5,000 members of the 4th armored division with their "M1-A1 all-terrain vehicles"

- Additional U.S. Army personnel, as needed for inspections

- A variety of U.S. Air Force personnel for aerial recon missions and other "surveillance" activities.

- A significant number of United States Marines to aid with inspections

- United States Coast Guard personnel to inspect coastlines

- An undisclosed number of Rangers, Green Berets, Navy Seals, Recon Marines, Delta Force, and other:

- Special Operations personnel to inspect Iraqi "hide-aways"

- MOAB and Daisy-Cutter bunker access devices

The President Stated: "With these additional resources, the inspections should be completed in a few weeks (not months -- not years)."

Hmmmmm......

I think all of us would agree that Michael Moore has the right to think and say whatever he likes and we would defend his right to do so.
That's something he appears to overlook and appreciate though, as that right does not extend to the good people of Iraq.
Just one of the things we are fighting for.

I personally disagree with just about everything he has to say.
If you disagree with him, don't buy his books or watch his movies.
Write to the sponsors of TV stations that show his material and tell them that you will no longer buy their products.
Vote with your wallets!!!!

We have similar people in my country who are all too happy to critisise but do nothing about their perceived injustices.
They should either stand for office themselves and see how their policies stand with the voting public or just move to a country they would be happier living in.

Thats one of the problems. This doodlebrain is reasonably popular and has more lemmings then one would imagine. Just check out his message board forums if you could handle it.

Well 01 XLT, I wouldn't recommend you check it out, you may spend way to much time trying to correct the *truth* and possibly driving yourself insane.

I know many people, including myself who don't want a war, but we know that it is what needs to be done at this point. Only 1 person I know is against this war. 1 person doesn't seem to be the majority though.

I vote him for leader of the Human Shields. Hell I'll donate money to One-Way-Plane-Ticket-for-the-Human-Shields-Fund.

This clip was from an Iraqi born, now American citizen, woman who had called in to WLS radio in Chicago recently. Listen to this and form your own opinion on Saddam, although I already had mine. It is very impelling to hear what his own people have to say about him.

She states "Wake up America" and I for one agree.
