Ac/dc

Somebody mentioned something about them in a previous thread, and their name has been making cameo appearances in threads here and there since. I want it centralized so we know, who all here likes AC/DC? Upon presenting this question to my messenger list, there are at least two girls in the world who have never even heard of them (I know, and they are in their 20s!), and no one so far hates them. I think they are great, they really did a lot for heavy music and they are underrated as far as being an influential band who still manages to rock HARD when they make new records. Most bands can't keep it going, and they even lost their original lead singer! Brian Johnson is the best replacement they could have got, though, his voice fits perfect with their sound. Thoughts?

I know for a fact that 01 XLT listens to "Highway to Hell" while he lays the boots to the tree huggers.

I had "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" lettered on the tailgate of my old 99 Lightning.

Nothing on the 01 though, except some stains on the seats

I was at an AC/DC concert a few years ago and they had a partial glass bottom stage, with naked (not just topless) chicks under it. Our seats were kinda high straight off the side of the stage so we had a perfect view.

I must agree, AC/DC, IMHO, will never die. I have there Back In Black album out in the truck and every now and then, I pop it in, crank it up.

Also, alot of the newer rock stuff of today orginated from the older bands, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Hendrix, etc... I will say this for a known fact. Nobody will every be able to imitate AC/DC. One of a kind band

I remember the first time I listened to Back in Black. At that time I thought this band would be like Led Zepplin, a clasic...

So far I am right. I still listen to Back in Black, of course on CD now and not the albulm.

I went through 3 cass. tapes of Back in Black. I love the CD it should last much longer...

They rock big time in concert, I have seen them 4 times, like the cannons the best "For those about to Rock"...
